This was an occurrence with my friends. A night he drived and friend sitting next to. After he has been driving a moment,Car was shut down. Then went down to uncover engine cap.But no flashlight in the car,So point a lighter to light and look at battery. Then think that liquid in the car battery is out or not. So uncover battery lid. Cause battery explosion off the side. Acid rebound into both his 2 eyes and another freind have to face acid into an eye. Then ask people to help bring them to the hospital immediately. This is like telling people to use car as the example. To have an inkling of what is done with machinery to make that safe or not. This case,friend apply a flashlight, that is safe.
Cause the battery to explode becauseit will be hydrogen in the battery , which caused the reaction of a solution within the battery. When uncovering battery lid out and spark, ignition hydrogen will explode immediately.
